Hours 08:00 – 16:30 Mon to Friday (Half hour lunch break unpaid) 40 total
Hols 20 + 8 days statutory (suitable dates to be agreed by the Client)
General Description / Overview
Our Client has a very successful track record in Construction and is currently developing its Housing Division in both New Build and some refurbishment of properties.
This is an office-based position
Your role (with internal training) would be to support and existing Admin team of 3 ladies and 1 man in the daily requirements of a busy and evolving progressive Company. This means that each day whilst attending to your regular duties, new challenges will ensure that you will get a variety of tasks to complete.
The current team is very close knit and requires the assistance of every team member to support the others, where necessary, during holidays or sickness or absence.
This position is for a person who would enjoy working to enhance the current team and to form a strong bond of work ethic ensuring you are able to adapt and blend in with the current team
The role would commence with some basic office tasks – filing/photocopying/emailing customers and suppliers. Answering the phone to a professional manner with the ability to identify genuine callers from spurious sales calls and to record the information or direct the call to the appropriate person.
For the right applicant – this position would suit a person with Admin skills either returning to work or if successful – could start with no more than 2 weeks’ notice to their current employer.
This position would require you to provide Regis Recruitment with work references for the 2 most recent places of work

Able to take the initiative when needed
Must have very good attendance & sickness record
Good timekeeping (08:00 start)
Office Word / XLS / Outlook – memo’s & forms
Able to create simple xls spreadsheets for tracking stock
Able to adapt and multi task to changes in a busy office environment
Capable of ordering stock – receipt of stock – issue of stock & maintain a record of stock
Good eye for detail
Car owner preferred but not essential
