Okay, so you have left the building and now you are sitting in your car or at a Bus stop and now is the time to allow your nerves to settle down.
It is important to realise that your post briefing is very important, and this should be done whilst everything is still ‘fresh’ in your mind and it is advisable to do this before you ‘set off’ for home.
Have a look through your notes
Switch your phone on and call Regis Recruitment. Discuss your journey upon entering the building and the process before, during and after the interview, so your Consultant can build a ‘picture’ of how it went.
Discuss any issues you thought may be important to the Interviewer / Customer.
Discuss any issues which you feel may require further discussion to clarify any areas of doubt.
Think clearly – do you think you made a good impression?
Was there anything you think you might have missed, or not asked during the interview?
It is considered polite to not discuss the salary and any other package benefit during the first interview, however, if the Interviewer raises this during the interview then, it is acceptable to engage in conversation, however, this is normally discussed during second/final interview with the Client.
It is always considered polite to respond back to the interviewer via email, thanking them for their time during your interview and that you look forward towards their answer on decision date agreed during the interview.
If you are being guided by Regis Recruitment, their Consultant would have already contacted the Client on your behalf and will clarify the dates with you via email or phone.
