SUMMARY

Below is a reminder of things you MUST DO

Do prepare fully for your interview.

Do make sure you get there with enough time to spare.

Do be positive and try to relax and, above all, be positive.

Do listen carefully to what is being said and what is asked.

Do respond to questions with a clear response.

Do be honest, polite and friendly to all those that you meet.

Do make that first impression a positive one.

Do smile and offer a firm handshake.

Do thank the interviewer for their time.

Do confirm what the next stage will be.

Below is a list of things you MUST NOT DO

Don’t be late – it is a massive No No.

Don’t tell lies – you will be caught out later.

Don’t interrupt anyone during the interview – it’s bad manners.

Don’t answer a question unless you fully understand it – ask them to repeat the question.

Don’t make critical comments about your last Employer- they would have contacted them.

Don’t be clever or smart with your answers – no one like a smug person.

Don’t fidget – it is off putting to the interviewer.

Don’t ‘wing it’ – you will be caught out.

We hope that Regis Recruitment’s 7-part process will offer you some insight into the procedure and we hope you secure that next, sought after job role.
