Job Description

Our Client is requesting a Class 2 Driver with some previous Class 2 curtain sider Experience

To work from a company in the Gwent area.

The position requires a 6am start delivering to various locations in Bristol / Glos / Swindon

Temporary Contract duration Unknown at the stage, initially covering long term sickness but reliable, hardworking candidates will always be considered for ongoing/permanent work.

North Wales or West Wales dependent on the route for that day delivering goods with a Driver’s mate.

Normally the shift will finish around 2 -3pm each day and the odd Saturday may be required in the busiest seasonal times. During the seasonal periods the day may extend slightly. Sundays are not required

A requirement for a person who will not only drive, but will also assist in deliveries and collections from the Customers

A requirement is for a physically fit person with good customer face to face skills and a polite manner is needed

This position will be initially on a trial basis, and if successful (after a min of 12 weeks) could turn into a long term employed status with the Company

The hourly rate is negotiable, and O/T is only paid on a Saturday (when agreed)

If you have acquired your licence within the last 6 months or more, in a Class 2 vehicle, you may apply dependent on your experience.

All applicants will have to undergo a face to face interview and document checking service in Newport, initially with Regis Recruitment, and thereafter, if selected, will attend a Client interview and assessment
